I’m Eugenios Baal

A freelance artist from Greece specializing in traditional ink artwork with a strong focus on dark, detailed and atmospheric imagery.

My connection with metal music goes back more than 30 years.

It has been a constant part of my life and a major influence on the way

I see and create art. Over the years, music, darkness, symbolism and visual storytelling have naturally become intertwined in my work.

My artwork begins traditionally, using fine-liners, stippling and detailed ink techniques to create each piece by hand. I then bring the artwork into the digital environment, where I work on color, lighting, atmosphere and final details while preserving the character and texture of the original drawing.

I’m particularly interested in working with metal bands and artists who want their visual identity to feel connected to their music. Whether it’s an album cover, single, EP, merchandise, promotional artwork or another visual project, I enjoy creating images that capture the atmosphere, themes and emotion behind the music.

For me, artwork is not simply an image placed alongside the music. It is another way of telling the story.
